The Lol-Wikia has this same information, but I found it on a Gamefags board, people some how fished it from the game files... Google the Following: "possible leak for the next champion (Draven, The Axe Thrower)" or just go to LoL-Wikia

Ahh. I had checked the Wiki beforehand but no info was up when I did :(

I forget where I read it, but you are wrong, Draven is not Tanky DPS, you are actually quite wrong, he is an AD Carry... His range, if I remember from when I read it will be 525, this means he is more life a Sivir/Olaf Combination...
leaguereader leaguereader Said:

Oh, really? That’s really interesting. Can you link where you read that? Don’t forget that Olaf is still Tanky DPS! If he can be built tanky without a major downside… he will :( Hopefully not, though. Thanks for the info~

Summoners!

Darius’ brother Draven is making an appearance in the next patch! Nothing is known about him yet, other than his apparent title of “Glorious Executioner”.

How do you feel about Riot releasing two tanky DPS in a row? (I mean how could he not be with all that armor, really?) I’m personally disappointed about it, because it seems like their go-to class. In between almost every champion release, there’s been a tanky DPS champion released.

EDIT NOTE: DRAVEN IS APPARENTLY NOT TANKY DPS, BUT THE REST STILL STANDS

Riven, Sejuani, Nautilus, Volibear, Hecarim, Darius and now Draven, all in the past year. 5 definite Tanky DPS (with Sejuani and Nautilus potentially falling into that category, making it 7), verses 9 champions of various type.

Graves - Ranged AD, Xerath - AP, Fizz - AP/Assassin, Ahri - AP/Assassin, Viktor - AP, Ziggs - AP, Fiora - Melee DPS (and it could be argued that she’s tanky DPS too, with her giant amount of sustain), Lulu - Support, Varus - Ranged AD. Those are the champions released in between the tanky ones. Sometimes two are released, sometimes one, but sure enough, a tanky DPS is released in between each champion not of that type.

There’s no order, or any consistency with what gets released when, but there’s always a tanky DPS just around the corner. Now, I’m not against tanky DPS champions, but too many is too many. There isn’t a scarcity of tanky DPS champions, but they continue being released every few weeks.

It is the most popular champion choice - everyone wants to be the guy who kills everyone and can stay alive doing it, but they’re also the most represented champions in the League.

33 tanky DPS champions, 22 mage champions (not including other champions who can build as mages), 15 ranged AD champions (not including others who can build that way if they so choose), 7 support champions (not including pseudo-supports or support-tanks), 11 tanks (not including others who can build that way, and including support-tanks like Leona, Sejuani and Nautilus) and the rest are melee champions, or champions who are melee but scale best with AP (like Katarina and Akali). So, why do they keep being released when other categories are so under represented?

This is just food for thought. Draven isn’t released yet, nor has his skillset been released, so we’ll see how this unfolds in a week or so. What are your thoughts, summoners?

Summoners!

Darius has just entered the League, and by now, we’ve all had a taste of his Noxian Guillotine. So what do you all think?

The resemblance to Garen is uncanny (he even has a joke referencing Garen…). He’s basically a more damage-focussed Garen and, I personally am a little disappointed at the creativity of Riot in this case. Nevertheless, he’s a strong, useful champion, but I don’t believe the game needed yet another tanky DPS so soon - least of all one that deals with other tanky DPS so efficiently. I had the pleasure of playing against him as Riven in top lane and was going to win little duel we had going on, then he pulled out his ult and I was dead. More than 600 HP gone in a second, and after that, it was up again instantly, enough to take out the half-HP Lee Sin who was coming to finish what I started. I have to ask (and I really would actually like an answer), what is his weakness? He gets movement speed, does giant chunks of damage with his low cooldown abilities, has no drawback to building tanky because of his passive and his W and can stop people from escaping. If any of you can tell me his weakness, thank you (because I really can’t see one).

Despite ALL of that, he’s still, essentially, a well designed champion with a flowing kit, and a good visual design. His Lord Darius skin is a really good skin and proves Riot right when they said they could make release skins better by only releasing one initially, and it helps Summoners who buy the new champion bundle on release by making the purchase cheaper (which is always a good thing to see — better quality over quantity for a cheaper price!).

What do you think of Darius? Noxian badass, or Garen clone?

Came across these on my feed. I haven’t been able to find any bigger versions but I’ll update if I do! Here’s the Ashe Art Rework, and the models and splash arts for the new Sad Bot Amumu, Darkflame Shyvana and Tryant Swain skins. What do you think of the new and improved Ashe?

The Varus patch is almost upon us, and the topic of discussion regarding the bowman is How Will He Be Built? With 2 abilities scaling with AD, and two with AP, there’s an argument for either side.
